Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, creating an account on, or otherwise using the Aeon Vela application, wedding websites, guest portals, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

2. Scope of Service & Platform Role

Aeon Vela is an intelligent wedding operating system providing creative design tools (AI Creative Director), bespoke wedding website creation, smart seating arrangement canvases with catering allergy heatmaps, RSVP management, and day-of execution software (including live multilingual vow subtitles and mobile guest itineraries).

Aeon Vela operates strictly as a digital technology provider. We do not act as an event broker, caterer, day-of wedding coordinator, officiant, legal entity, or vendor contractor.

3. Accounts, Security, & Role Permissions

To create a wedding project, you must register for an account with accurate information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all actions that occur within your wedding project.

If you invite collaborators (such as wedding planners, family members, or coordinators), you are responsible for assigning appropriate access levels. You must notify us immediately at security@aeonvela.com upon becoming aware of any unauthorized access to your project.

4. User Content & 100% Couple Ownership

By uploading User Content, you grant Aeon Vela a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to host, render, display, and process your content to provide the Service to you and your invited guests. We will never sell or license your personal photos or vows to third parties.

5. Aeon Vela Intellectual Property

The Aeon Vela name, brand mark, user interface designs, software architecture, codebases, design token algorithms, and aesthetic system templates are the proprietary intellectual property of Aeon Vela Inc. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or redistribute our platform software or proprietary designs without our explicit written consent.

6. AI Creative Director & Design Engine

Our natural language AI Creative Director synthesizes harmonious color palettes, font pairings, floral texture suggestions, and stationery materiality notes as assistive inspiration.

AI outputs are provided "as is" for creative exploration. Final decisions regarding physical decor fabrication, stationery printing, linen rentals, floral ordering, and architectural setup remain the sole responsibility of the couple and their chosen vendors.

7. Independent Vendors & Venue Disclaimers

Any agreements, contracts, deposits, or bookings you make with wedding venues, photographers, florists, caterers, musical performers, or other third-party vendors are strictly private agreements between you and those independent vendors.

Aeon Vela is not a party to any vendor agreements and accepts no liability for vendor performance, contract disputes, cancellations, venue rule changes, or catering food safety execution.

8. Day-Of Ceremony Live Subtitles & Technology

Our Projector Mode live ceremony vow subtitles and mobile guest itineraries are provided as assistive accessibility technologies. Live machine transcription and translation require adequate internet connectivity, audio clarity, and venue acoustics.

While we engineer for high fidelity and low latency, Aeon Vela cannot guarantee 100% transcription accuracy under adverse conditions (such as background music, heavy wind, or poor microphone quality) and is not liable for minor transcription discrepancies during live speeches.

9. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload defamatory, obscene, pornographic, infringing, or unlawful material.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent guest identities or RSVP submissions.
• Transmit unsolicited commercial advertisements, spam, or automated bot requests.
• Interfere with, breach, or attempt to circumvent our security protocols or HMAC token signatures.

10. Project Export, Cancellation, & Deletion

You may close your account or delete your wedding project at any time through your dashboard settings or by contacting concierge@aeonvela.com.

Prior to deletion, you can export your guest list, seating assignments, and wedding data in CSV/PDF formats. Once permanently deleted, your project and associated media cannot be recovered.

11. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEON VELA INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL AEON VELA INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING PLANNING DELAYS, LOSS OF DATA, OR VENDOR DISPUTES) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings in applicable state or federal courts.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms as our platform evolves. Notice of significant changes will be published on our website or sent to your registered email address. Continued use of Aeon Vela following notice of updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
