SMS Opt-In Consent

Aeon Vela collects explicit written consent from all recipients before sending any SMS messages. This page documents our opt-in process for Twilio A2P 10DLC compliance.

How Guests Opt In

RSVP Form

Guests visit the couple's personalized wedding website and fill out the RSVP / contact info form, which includes a phone number field.

Explicit Checkbox

An unchecked-by-default checkbox asks guests to opt in: "Yes, send me text updates about the wedding!"

Consent Language

Consent language directly below the checkbox explains message frequency, data rates, and STOP / HELP instructions before they submit.

Confirmation SMS

Guests receive a double-opt-in confirmation SMS and must reply YES before any further messages are sent to them.

The following text is displayed on the RSVP / contact collection form immediately below the opt-in checkbox, before submission:

By checking this box, you agree to receive recurring messages from [Couple Names] via Aeon Vela Wedding App. Message frequency varies. Msg & Data Rates May Apply. Text HELP for help, STOP to cancel. View Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Opt-in is voluntary and not required to complete the RSVP. Guests may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
